My sis got a budgie from her step daughter that was 2 yrs old. He was a mouthy little guy but she was able to clean up mouth and retrain him, so there is hope! Now he looks at his girlfriend in the mirror and calls her darling. He will tell you how beautiful you are and even grace you with his prescence on your shoulder while nibbling on strands of hair. He says 20 different things and he likes to sit on the dog’s head and look out the front window. Your budgie looks healthy to me from the pic and his colours are beautiful! I’m sure he’ll be just fine!
